bonneville, thats how I roll.
Bought a 98silverSE last week for 5000. 94000 miles. The only option it has that I think wasnt standerd is traction control. I feel like a king with the remote door locks, power seat, window, automatic. It does have a crappy tape deck, or maybe its 8 track havent seen one in awhile. Wanted a big 4 door family car cheap and came across the bonneville. Test drove it and couldnt believe it wasnt new. I went from a 96 contour with power nothing to this luxo mobile. I've been browsing this web site and felt like a peeping tom after a few days do decided to become a member. I'm 29 with wife and two kids. I've changed alternators, water pumps, distributors, installed countless stereos and speakers, but by no means am I a grease monkey. Thats gotta be the part I'm most pumped about this site is being in touch with a bunch of bonny 3800 vets
My short term goals as far as mods go are as follows:
1. Put in my Alpine cd player that was worth more then my contour was
2. Speakers: components in the front 6x9 in back, looking at infinity
3. Air Filter
4. Tinted windows 20% front 5%rest
5. sylvania silver stars
6. Love those angel eyes, gotta get some
7. Cigarette burns, lol Car has no signs of previous owner smoking, almost made me quit
Basically the stuff I had on my previos cars
Questions I have loads of them and will post them in the appropriate forum section.[/img]
