That'* a VERY sharp Alero!

You still have room in there for a L67!

Thank you!

And no L67 for me... they are honestly not worth the hassle in these cars. Im going to do a turbo 3400.

pretty slick. how was the f40 swap? i always wanted to put one in my w-bodies but always seemed like too much work. they should have been an option

The F40 in this car is tons of fun, really makes the drive much more enjoyable. i really love this car with the manual trans. its just a whole nother animal.

the car has 206k miles on it (body and motor)

trans has almost 20k miles (all parts for the swap were new from GM 0 miles) i.e - trans, cables, shifter, clutch, clutch pedal, etc...

i actually had Milzy motorsports do the swap for me. i would have tackled it myself, but i am not a welder. there is a spot on the driver wide where you have to cut out a section on the body and weld in a mount for the trans. that was beyond my work so i just let Milzy tackle it for me. all in all though, he did a great job with the install and i couldnt be happier. if i had welding expieriance i would have probably done this myself. aside from the trans swap, i do all the modifications myself.

i agree, it would have been nice to be an option, but its also alot more fun having something that WASNT an option.

so far theres a total of 3 of these cars with the f40. one is a 3400 f40 (he was the first) then me (second) and now a new guy who just had his done a few weeks back, 3500 LX9 with an f40 in an Alero. so, only 3 alero v6 f40s out there as we know it....

technically 2 3400 6 speeds and one 3500 6 speed.

sadly, i honestly doubt anyone else will do the swap/have the swap done. alot of people dont care to much about there alero to throw that much money at it. but im keeping mine forever.
