Hello everyone, I just signed up on here when I was looking for reasons as to why my 98 Olds Intrigue completely died on me last week while driving it. Looked around a bit and found a few threads but they ended without the actual fix that took care of problem. I'm in the process of swapping all sensors that could have something to do with it (already switched Cam sensor, ICM, I have spark, fuel pressure a little low (tried starter fluid with no luck firing), and I am in the process of Crank sensor now since its the last sensor I believe that comes up with P0300 Random Misfire. All sensor swaps have led to nothing yet, no firing of engine just turning over and backfiring through intake. I will be doing fuel filter, hopefully not fuel pump as they aren't cheap!
My 2 cars are 98 Olds Intrigue (maroon/red color) and I have a 95 Chevy Beretta.

Thanks for all the welcomes, I am hoping to have Intrigue back on the road by end of weekend. Beretta actually does not have any motor mods, I like my 29-30mpg and it was always my daily driver until I got the intrigue last year. I kind of wanted to make it fast but its a brick and I went for show and no go. It would be fun to drop 3800SC into it but the ones that have done it mostly say they would never do it again, and I don't know much on tuning and all that. I can rebuild but when it comes to building an engine up I have never tried. I may try to sell it this coming year, I'm torn since I have done everything to the car since I bought it 8 or so years ago. Plus Michigan snow/salt sucks, paint job is honestly not perfect, but my dad and I did it myself so its pretty nice for garage job. I do have a ton more pics, I should find an easy way to post numerous pics...

welcome! I always thought those Berretas were fun cars. Impressive paint job, was that your first venture into paint? Would you do it again?
Never done a whole car myself but have a couple Jeeps that the wife and I will most likely tackle redoing the paint on.
