New guy here with a problem!
Hi all I've owned my Green 94' Bonneville (or Bonzai as my friends call it!!) for about 3 years now and in all that time the only trouble I have had was a continuous SES light and hard starting sometime in bitter cold I dont know how to check the codes (I heard somewhere it is OBD 1.5 and I never heard of that!) , but it always ran great otherwise until now. Whenever I am accelerating I get a vibration in the RF tire that gets worse on Right turns while accelerating I took the wheel off but i could see nothing wrong? Maybe a CV joint or??????? HELP!!

As for the vibration it may be a CV joint or wheel bearing...94 is not OBD1.5 95 is....You have OBD1 and any obd1 scanner of ability can pull the codes (ses light) Otherwise you can use a paperclip to jump terminal a and b on the port and read the codes that way..By watching the number of flashed...Will explain more if need be..But welcome to the forum we love pics and if you start a thread in the proper section we can assit you further as well as it will be veiwed by more members!

As for the vibration, seeing how it gets louder when turning, that leads me to think a possible bad wheel hub.

Well hopefully sometime this week I'll get the car on a lift and check it all out, one more ? I have seen bonnevilles around my year that are supercharged would it be possible to steal a setup from a junk yard and bolt it on????

welcome! vibrating sounds like a wheel bearing, I had the same vibrating and humming on my RF and it turns out it was a bad wheel bearing (3rd time replacing wheel bearings that year).

Vibration
You could try swapping wheels from left to right and see if that makes a difference before you start pulling parts off, could be just a bad tire.

The paperclip retreival method does not work on a 95. You'll need to find someone with a scanner that will use the OBD2 plug and read the OBD1 codes.

like roger said a bad tire if you let your struts go makes the same noise as a wheel bearing which is kinda like a grinding noise, cv would be more of like a fast thumpthumpthump. usually by the time the tire makes that noise you can run your hand across the tread and feel or see shark fin wear on the tread blocks.
