Hello everyone. I am new to the club and this is my first post. I just picked up my first Bonneville today. I just got the 2004 GXP. It is dark blue metalic. I have most of the options except the cd changer. GM really did a good job tuning the exhaust. There in nothing like the sound of a V8 even if it is a northstar.

This is my second Pontiac. I also have a grand prix with a few tweaks. It ran a 13.63@101 at IDDV this year. I have a 144000 miles on it and thought it was about time to upgrade.

How many of you have the GXP? what are your thoughts so far?

John

Nice. You are one of a handfull of GXP owners here. There hasn't been much said as far as first-hand experience'*, and we're still waiting for magazine testing, and track #'*, and whatever else is to be said about them -the good, the bad, the ok, but I'm sure it'* mostly good.
Welcome aboard.

P.*. before you our latest member to get a GXP (BADGXP as it is now named) is Scott Cook, so no doubt you won't have long to wait if you are looking for mods, and they'll be coming from one of our 3800 modders, so no doubt it will be good stuff.
BTW, Pictures are a must have around here.

Well as a matter of fact, I will know if Scott comes up with anything for the GXP. I work for him. Most of the performance mods on my GTP are INTENSE products including one of the first PCM'*. I do not work for INTENSE though. I work for his other company, Advanced Gauging Tech.

So how do I post pictures? Do I have to host them somewhere first or can I post directly here? I am going to clean both cars tomorrow and snap a few pics.

Welcome!! You will have to host your pics first. Cardomain and PhotoBucket are free and easy. There'* also a few members you can bribe into hosting occasionally. Me, for instance....

Welcome. The Dark Blue Metalic is a great color on the Bonneville. It would have been my second choice if I was unable to find a Crimson Tintcoat Bonneville.

Ok you asked for pictures, here they are. I snapped these today. I had to get at least one with my older baby in the pic. The GTP is a 99 with 145000 miles on it.
