Default Slightly new-newbie!

Hey all!
I've posted & received great help already in the 87-91 forum. Wanted to say thanks, you guys (& girls) know your stuff!
I got a killer deal on a 89 SSE ($50 & trailer it away). It had a battery drain & the old owners were being raped by their mechanic, so they parked it next to the garage for 4 years. They were going to junk it before I got it-JUST SAY NO TO JUNKYARDS! Its not in bad shape, has rust on the drivers side quarter & trunklid, along with the wonderful 1989 GM paint goof up (clear coat is supposed to stick-d'oh)! but otherwise decent looking for a Michigan car. The electrical drain was only a seat belt warning buzzer short-easy stuff! It was scary looking when it got it, between the 6" of leaves on it to the 10 generations of ants living everywhere on it. Had it 2 weeks now & gotta say I dig the gas mileage, but it could use more power (of course).

Doesn't look like there are many "old bonnie" people here, but I'm a dragracer & my next project was going to be a 62 Bonneville strip/strip toy, but I just found a 63 Tempest that has me thinking. Either way, it will be an older Pontiac
My other toy right now is a 80Z28, looks good, wins at shows & runs 12'*, what more can ya ask for!
Heres some pics of my junk (no Bonnie pics) -

Cool site! I'll probably be back with questions later on!

lmao.. but that just fuels the flame to keep workin on the bonnie..

What do you mean "old Bonnie" people? You mean the way old school style Bonnevilles ?? Or old Fart bonnie owners like Mustafa ( Willwren ) and Mighty Mouse ( Deathrat ) .. watch.. I"ll be gettin it from them later about this.. hee hee.. jokes old men..

Not many "old bonnie" racers but some old Pontiac racers. My very first car was a Tempest.
Welcome to the club Nick.

Hey Fire!
Its pretty much dead around here. They have cruise inns at the Gilmore Car museum wednesdays and in Battle Creek at Taco Bell on saturdays. Not much good roaming around on the streets, I havent really run anyone (other than a Boxter a couple weeks ago ) in 2 years. The import crowd is always buzzing around.
