You guys are so coool. Thanks for wonderful welcome and to answer jr'* question the VIN is 2HX5132. I think it'* not an LE unfortunately. Dad wouldn't pay the extra for the LE hence lack of automaic doors etc. Funny story about why he wouldn't get automatic windows - he was afraid that Mom would keep putting them up and down - and he was right!! They are 89 and 87 and just recently entered a personal care home together. They are in Wpg and I am in Calgary but I talk to them on the phone every night. They are in a great place and have lots of activities.
Dad hasn't asked how the car is doing. I think it is too sad and sore a subject for him! I hope to drive it to Winnipeg next summer and take him for a drive to his favorite restaurant in it.
This website has made me appreciate the car even more and I am intent on restoring it as it needs. Right now it is in such good shape not much needs to be done. Interior is immaculate and everything on it is original. Was always kept in a garage when not driven so no fading or cracking. I LOVE IT!!!
HE (powder blue you know) should have a name though. Any suggestions?!
