Default New to the scene

I just recently started getting into cars and want to learn more. i have a 2001 Bonneville. there is no letter trimming on the side, like SE and SLE etc... does that mean that its none of the above? and also is there a website out there that can explain all the parts of bonneville under the hood, or is that stuff you just learn by time?

the first mod i wanted to make was a cold air intake and i wasnt sure if the letter trim made any difference in what kind i should get. Or would it be better to get short ram intake?

As you can see i don't know too much but i'm willing to learn and any bit of info. would be very helpful. Thanks

We should be able to answer all your questions, you just need to ask. There are several items for your car, sites like INTENSE-Racing.com - G8, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Regal, L67 3800 Supercharged Performance Products. and zzperformance.com have a good selection. There is also a well stocked and growing tech info section. Is your car supercharged or not?

If it'* not lettered, it'* an SE. Base model. The cold air intakes are the same regardless of the trim model. And Welcome to the Club. We dont have a per/se, nor do I know of a site with all the body parts. But you will find here about as much as a site could have about the Bonneville and it'* a never ending work in progress. If you dont find something, just ask and we will either answer or point it out to you. I'm going to move this to the "Introduction" section
