Even though I just found out about this site, I have had a 1990 SSE for 13 years and just purchased a 1998 SSEi in late January. My '90 had 237,00 miles on it and a few minor things started to cause concerns. It still ran great and no leaks, and I had no prolems keeping it. I was looking on Carmax.com for prices on SSEi'* and they only list from 2001 and up. I mentioned this to a man I have known for about 20 years at my old job (I retired 4 years ago after 41 years of Government service at the Department of Energy) and he said he had a '98 SSEi, white, just like my '90, that he might be selling after the new year. Bought the '98 and love it it and it'* great performance. I gifted the '90 to my daughter (in Maryland you don't have to have the car inspected or pay sales tax on a gift) who just had her first baby, so the car seat would fit in the back without having knees in the dash in her Honda 2 door. Sorry to ramble, I'm new here.

So you are a bonneville man from way back when then. Glad to have you here. I've owned 3 bonnevilles in the past 5 years. Great cars! I'm sure your daughter will like it very much. I had a 91 SSE that I really liked but sold it when I upgraded.

Welcome Aboard. The love of Pontiac Grew when My Girlfriend and I bought a new 04 Grand Am SE last year. I soon after bought my 94 SSEi and I look forward to driving it as much as I can. Heck, I already put over 300 miles on it and I have only had it registered for a week!!!
Good luck with your 98. See you in the forums.

My daughter lives in Frederick, MD and I live in Monrovia, MD, about 13 miles away. I live about 1 mile from the recently closed 75-80 Dragway.
