Howdy
Hello All,
Just wanted to make a quick post to tell you about myself. I might as well. I bought a1992 SSEI Bonny about a week ago and I've been on here every day since.
I'm a 38 year old network engineer from Atlanta, Georgia. I was a gopher at my Dad'* autoshop from about age 4 on. I've got one mini me. He'* 4 and can aleady tell the difference between a Jag and a Ferrari. He'* my life and my buddy.
I've fully restored about 8 cars in my lifetime. Everything from an autocrossing Fiat x1\9, a concourse '66 GT Mustang, to a 12 second 5.0 Capri . I like car'*. I especially like big fast one'* such as the 300c, 7 series Beemers, SS Impala and yes the Pontiac Bonnevile SSEI.
It'* got a BLOWER ! YEAH ! I finally got a feakin car with a blower...
My Dad had a 1970 Bonny with a 455 when I was kid.
He laid rubber in it one day coming from the races and I was HOOKED !
I have actually had dreams about driving that car...
I know what compression ratio, cam profiles and fuel curves have in common.
I know how to keep the networks of Fortune 500 companies up and afloat but ..
I can't spell worth a ... crap. So, I apologize for that right off.
Anywho, I just dork around with the Bonny for fun like the rest of my past sins err ... cars.
My wife of 17 years thinks the cars are cheeper than a divorce and I agree.
I'm here for advice, to give advice .. hopefully, and to share a cool car. I've saw post where these things were doing 13'* in the quarter. A 4 door super luxo barge that does 13'*. That'* COOL !
I hope to meet everyone, tread lightly on the boards and make friends.
