Smile New user with my hotrod! LOL

Just found this site and looks great! hoping I can get some idea'* on my car,
its a 1991 Buick Century Limited 3.3L I got from the original owner'* granddaughter for 500 bucks and runs like a dream!
I plan on keeping it for a good long time and doing a lot of modification'* to it.

What kind of mods are you planning?
I bought Grand Pa'* HOT Rod 97 Park Ave last year. My first mod was tires and PIAA Lights.

Welcome to GM Forum! That car looks pretty good for its age. How'* the underside, interior, engine bay, and the rest of it look? A virtual high-five if this is one of those cars that rust forgot.

There is very small surface rust on the top of the car but nothing bad, it was taken very well care of and with only 150 k miles, only Issues I have with it is a small valve cover gasket leak, and the inside looks clean not beat up but hey for 500 bucks you cant find anything like this that rides so nice. I wanna start with a cold air intake, exhaust, small stuff then maybe engine swap way later down the road when it starts to get older.

anything is possible with enough money. is it feasible for the money probably not. i dont know what the bottom looks like but most fwd cars you have to cut most of the floor out to get a rwd trans in and driveshaft. i would say there are nstar and ls4 v-8'* possible for fwd config. expensive though. i would think the best bang for the buck would be a late 90'* l67, there are a few guys making some power with these certainly enough to have some fun.

Yeah that was one of my biggest worries was how I could configure and Rwd trans along with the rear end and all that, figured the motor would fit but wasnt 100% on the trans, i know my way around a motor but ive never had a Fwd car before so im kinda new to the trans being up front to.
I know this may sound dumb though, but do they make 4/5 speed conversions for buicks? ive seen like 1 and i know there not popular from my research and hard to come by.
