Default Hello to everyone

Hello to all, some of you here already know me. I'm Gonneville'* brother, Sean. I've been dragged along to a few meets, so I know a few of you. He'* been twisting my arm to register, I guess he got tired of me trolling under his log-in!
I'm currently the owner of a 93 Plymouth Duster, it'* running a 3.0L V6 and a 5-speed tranny. The brakes and swaybar are sourced from a 91 Shelby Daytona, and I've done a few other mods to it. Larger throttle body, massively ported intake plenum (11lbs before porting, 8.2 after!!!), 8.5mm wires, and I bumped the timing by 3* advance for more power.
Future plans call for a total rebuild of a spare motor, it'll be running 8:1 pistons in a block bored to 3.25L. I'm using the M62 from Brian'* old Bonneville, with a custom fabbed bracket to position it behind the stock Mopar plenum location. It'll be blowing through either a Saab or Volvo intercooler. Injectors are sourced from Ford Motorsports, 30pph'ers. I'm also using a set of Mitsu Diamante cams (the Mopar 3.0 is sourced from Mitsu, used in just about everything both companies made, and oddly enough, it'* sort of still around. The engine family ranges from a JDM 2.0L supercharged model, to the 2.5 in the Mopar cloud cars, to the 3.0 versions in all the early 90s Mopars, to the 24-valve motors in the Eclipse and Stratus, to the DOHC Twin Turbo motor in the Stealth/3kGT, to the 3.5/3.8 in the Montero, and even the new Eclipse 3.8 MIVEC motor uses the same basic block architecture. Some Hyundai Sonatas got the older version, and the current 2.7 in the Tiburon is related. The motor also got used in forklifts with a propane carb, and there are marine applications as well.

Brian keeps trying to convert me to GM, so I'll just note that my Duster is currently wearing a set of 16in Beretta GTZ rims. :P

Well, he'* a lot calmer now that he'* finally gotten some. And the cats actually come out from behind the sofa now.....

Tracy, whenever I feel a cool wet sensation on the back of my leg, I'll be thinking of that dog. And probably running away.

Welcome to BC!

I obviously don't know the references specifically, but I know this group a bit. Apparently you already know what you're in for. Good to have you here.

Lol... for those who don't know what all the funny references were about... Mopar Man and Gonneville came up from Ohio last week for the ONBF mini meet in Niagara Falls Ontario. They stayed at my house and my dog is a "licker" and would not leave them alone the entire time. Then we went go-karting in Ontario and there was a mini-golf course there with huge animal status, including a gorilla. Well, BC members with camera'* and large animals can bring out bizarre behaviors... thus the monkey-humping.

So yea... Mopar Man made it to his first meet before even signing up on BC. He'* sicker than most. He knew...and he still joined.

Greetings and Welcome to the Club. It may not be a Bonnie...., but at least it'* not a Ford. Jeeeez in one section in one day I've been exposed to leg humping, monkey humping , and sheep!.... I need therapy. Back to the 18-pack.
