Default Greetings Everyone!

Hey all,

This weekend I just got a used Bonneville for my wife (and me too, sometimes).
Just wanted to say Hi!, and warn ya to be on the lookout for some questions, heh heh!!
Seems to be a few small things that need attention to get the car up to 100% healthy.
Looking forward to learning more about this car, and getting to know some of ya as well!

Another Minnesota member.....

Welcome to the club, good luck with the new (to you) car. Make sure you read up in the 1992-99 forums, a wealth of information to be found in there.

And if you have pics of the new ride, throw em into Your Ride...so we can all bask in the latest Bonneville additions

lol...I just read your profile, you work in the architectural field as well...cool, we have something in common. I'm an architectural designer too. Working my way to becoming an architect, but gotta start off slowly.

Do you work on your own (freelance) or do you work for a firm?

Thanks for the Welcome!!!!
No pics yet. I will try and get some soon though. Dig. camera is still on the list of things that I'd like to have someday. For now I'll need to borrow...

89, I'm working for a mid-size regional architectural firm. We do a lot of work for local school districts, and municipal government buildings mostly. But these days, pretty much anyone that is willing to pay is someone we'd work for, hahaha!!! Before this I worked for a national shopping center landlord, drafting lease outline and improvement plans.
How 'bout you??? I had plans to become an architect once, but I think that since our firm pretty much wants everyone to be like construction managers more than design/architects, I've been kinda disillusioned on that whole thing. ALMOST to the point of trying something completely different. But I like to draw stuff, so I am trying to keep my options open. Just not really motivated to spend all kinds of time in meetings and city council or planning commission snooze-o-ramas! Out of high school, I was torn between architectural drafting and auto mechanics. I get to wrench quite often on the fleet of vehicles that my wife and I own. (Mostly me, really. She tries to blame them all on me at least.) Figure that somethings gonna have to go with the addition on the Bonneville, though. Still trying to figure out what.

Sorry so long. Promise I'll keep the posts a little less wordy!! :P

Thats cool man.

I work for a large scale architecutural firm based in Mississuga Ont. We have satellite offices in London and New York. We focus mostly on large scale commercial, Some of the more notable international projects are Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lampur, better know as KLCC. The World Financial Centre in NY, Hearst Building in NY, Canary Wharf in London and my project the new Terminal building at Pearson Int'l Airport. We are mostly based in technical drawing and prime consulting. We dabble in local design projects, hospitals, city halls, schools, mid-scale commercial.

I had hopes of going to university and getting a degree. I went to college instead and found other means of achieving the title. Since then I have managed to maintain a steady stream of freelance work while doing design/drafting/site review at the Airport.

The Ontario association of Architects is a band of old croonies and fat cats, its time for some young blood to freshen up a those stuffy starched shirts....

I'm sitting pretty til they offer me a Job Captian role when we start doing hotels in the Caribbean or something...good times...as long as I can bring the Bonne

With the way cars rust away here, most cars are temporary unless you work to take good care of them. Nice to see a few others from MN as well. I actually got a link to here when I was asking around opinions on other forums I frequent. (There'* too many actually, seems I spend more time on the internet than working some days, heh heh!!)
