Great Forum we have here!
Hello everyone.
My name is Dave and I have been a car guy since I was old enough to hold a wrench. I've loved cars as long as I can remember. I am a body man and painter by profession and have owned my own collision shop since 1983. As a teenager, I loved helping my friends fix up their cars as well as my own. A day at the beach for me was cruising the junkyards for the right small block Chevy heads or anything that would keep our junk running. Now many years later, I have restored my passion due to having teen-age sons that love their supercharged Rivs. We frequently cruise the pick-n-pull for parts, or just to browse. Cars have changed a lot since I was doing it as a hobby and I am enjoying the learning process of modding the computerized FI cars. This forum is very educational and entertaining. I hope that I can contribute at some point, as I have already learned plenty from all of you. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this family.

Welcome to the forum! Deep down, it'* still the same spark, fuel, air, and compression you know. But when something goes wrong, the car will help you diagnose itself (e.g., "bank 1 too lean" instead of you sniffing exhaust and reading spark plugs). Most of the time, at least.
We have a lot of guys on this forum playing with engines from the 1990'* and 2000'* on all skill levels. Make yourself at home.
