Again, Welcome.....Texas is a BIG state...what part of Texas are you from?
And Bill.....some of us don't have the priviledge of saying....."Hey, let'* have a meet this weekend" and end up with 20 Bonne owners (all within a half hours drive) showing up at the doorstep.

Howdy Ya'll! Sorry, but I had to do that... Ha!
Wow, it is great to get such a nice reception here with so many replies. Thanks! Definitely seems like a nice site with a lot of info to share. I will definitely be taking some more pics - but I want to paint my rotors (yeah, mine are rusty too) before I try to get some really good shots. I already have the windows deeply tinted for our "interior baking" Texas summer sun and bought 2 extra GXP badges - 1 for the engine cover (mounted it centered a little below the 'Northstar V8') and 1 for the lower trunk lid (mounted it beside the V8 and spaced it over to the left enough so that the space from the left edge of the GXP badge to the right edge of the V8 measures the same width as the 'Bonneville' on the left side of the lower trunk lid. Both look great as they look like they came from the factory in those locations. I am also considering some of the carbon fibre pieces that you put on the two center door pillars if I can find them for the Bonneville. I have seen them for other makes and models - but haven't found them for the GXP yet. I think that would tie in well with the interior CF trim pieces as well as some other CF plans I have for the engine compartment.
Thanks also for the compliments on the color! It was definitely the color I had to have if I was going to get a Bonneville GXP as it is just killer! I have never seen a GXP on the road anywhere - but the first and only GXP I saw was at a car show in Houston and it was in the White Gold Tricoat and I fell in love with it right off the bat. But the sticker price put it out of my budget. But with the huge discounts now to push the last of them out of the dealer showrooms - I was able to put this sweet ride in my driveway!
Oh, and I have already replied to a PM from James. I am about 45 miles southwest of Houston in Fort Bend county. Well, see you guys around then... Patrick
