Hello, my name is Justin. I own a '89 Boneville. It is red and sexy, despite a few rust spots. I have a mileage count of 51,000! pretty much everything on my car is original factory issue. I bought this car from my great grandmother for $400, and the repairs were $1500 for a tuneup with plugs, wires, and new ignition coils. I also got some radiator hoses and a lot of replacement parts for "stuff" in the engine bay. Despite a few cigarette burns in the seats, the interior is flawless. I am open for any questions or comments.

1500 for a tune up, or a new engine?

Now we can have meets with Riding, Mustard Man, 1337ssei, and my two Bonnevilles! My neighbors will probably burn down my house from blocking the streets with my car repairs as it is. Let'* see what happens when we pack the block with 5 Bonnevilles!

What'* on the menu for saturday? I know it'* the holiday weekend, but who knows.

I think we're all going to be available then. I'll check with 1337ssei, but if you're up for it, most probably Mustard Man is up for it, and then we can take some nice fall pictures. I see you & Mustard don't have signature pictures. This must be aided ASAP. The wheels are still holding up the polish very well! Also, I found a nearly new bottle of Turtle Wax chrome polish, so I'll see if I can do some dirt track racing before the meet Mustard Man, please keep your Saturday open if you can. This is great news!

oh now see we need some pics of that bad ride. I love me a MGRM 89 Bonneville any day of the week. I miss mine horribly. PICS SOON EH?

Also...why in the hell did the coils already need replacing? Not only THAT, but why in god'* name did you pay $1500 for something that would normally cost around a total of $80 with new wires, new plugs and some used Delco coils. I hope thats not all that $1500 went for.

I see much about this $1500 price tag for some work on the car. From what I've gathered, his grandmother drove the car for the 51,000 miles on the odometer. Just recently, he bought the car for $400 and also paid for the repairs & the tune-up. His grandfather took the car to Pep Boys and had them fix it with everything they've got. The engine bay looks nice, so perhaps there was some brake line work and the like. I'll double-check the master brake cylinder and various other things for abnormal dust or cleanliness to see what'* up. Most likely, quite a whole lot was done. Also, when he got the car, Justin had to replace the fuel filter and some of the fuel lines. It runs fine now, though. I've ridden in it, and it'* very, very smooth.
