Hello! I'm Milkman11 from New Jersey and I had purchased a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE last week for $1800 w/ 127,000 miles. This is the best car I have purchased because of the nostalgic feel to it and the room it has for my family and friends. I'm not really into the newer electronic type cars.

The only thing I encountered is the rough idling I have at times. It could be a faulty o2 sensor (the other sensors like the idle air control valve and the MAF sensors are good and I even had a valve cover gasket with a new set of sparks and wires installed). These cars are not too difficult to work on when it comes to replacing sensors and things of that nature.

What made me interested in this car is that my brother and one of his friends had both own Bonnevilles. My brother had an SE and his friend had (I think he still owns the SSE). I even driven my brother'* car a couple of times and it was added to the very short list of cars I want to someday acquire.

I had stumbled on this website after doing a Wikipedia search on Pontiac Bonneville and I saw the pics that The Bonneville Club provided. The Bonneville Club is really a great site and it definitely comes in handy! Thanks![/code]

These really are nice cars, IMO, but then I'm pretty biased on the subject, lol.

As to the stumble/rough idle, feel free to post your questions in the '92-'99 section and many here will be ahppy to help out.

With your car being over 13 years old, a common issue is deteriorated vacuum lines, or more specifically the rubber connector fittings. There are any number of threads detailing methods to diagnose this if you need help. At the very least it'* a very inexpensive repair if needed and just takes some time on your part.
