I'll look at the SPID codes later, I assumed they were in the same place as in my caprice sedan, underneath the deck lid, thanks for the heads up.
I am open to any and all mod suggestions, appearance and performance.

LeSabres are probably my second favorite H Body. 1st when it comes to interiors. I love the Land Yacht dash in them things!

well I attempted to take a pic of the spid label, but it wouldnt come out. Anyway, it does indeed have the L27, what other codes am I looking for?

F17 will be 2.84 gear ratio ( Granny gears )
FW2 will be 3.06 Gear ratio ( performance oriented )
FE1 soft ride suspension
FE2 Ride and handling suspension
F41 Firm ride suspension
1SA, 1SB, 1SC, 1SD, 1SE... <---- These buicks came in several flavors...lol

Welcome to the forums...I also own a 1993 buick lesabre couple of mods already done to it...for your first mod i would def recommend getting some nice gold crosslace stock bonneville rims to go with that beatiful red tone.
Also i wanted to note my lesabre also has 276,000 miles...and runs smoother then ever.

280k IS impressive for any engine. 280k on a 4t60-e, however, is miraculous. God-like even. You wouldn't happen to know if this is the original trans, would ya?
