Greetings from Finland!
Hello from Finland, my fellow Pontiaccers!
First of all; English isn't my native language, so please forgive my bad spelling and grammar when it occurs.
At first, I found this site by searching what "SSE" stands for, and second time while I searched for a stereo replacement for my 90/91 Bonneville. Very useful site, and I already got some good knowledge of things. Things, such as: it'* difficult to find stock CD-players to replace ye olde cassette player.
American cars are expensive around here and European cars aren't. So, though my Bonnie is old from the US point of view, it'* quite "new" from mine.
In the US it'* the other way around and I just can't see why. I wouldn't change the luxorious, reliable and smooth ride of Pontiac to any poor-*** Mercedes/BMW bumpyness. There'* aren't too many models from, for example, those two to match the ride. If any. I've driven quite a many of those before-mentioned and I can't see what'* the fuss.
Anyway; thanks for this awesome site!

Heh, thanks, man
Euro-/jap -cars are just like that. I've never understood, what'* the big fuss around them anyway. For example, it'* pretty different to make some sweet sexing love to your girl in a car that has loads of space, leather interior and all the other comforts, than in a tiny euro sedan with all kinds of cheap plastic shizzle sticking from everywhere. Not to mention driving long distances with comfort, which I really appreciate.
And one more thing about Bonnie. It'* so damn easy to start during the winter time. It'* -8 C (17.6 fahrenheit) here now and it'* nothing to it. Neither was -15 C (5 F).
To sum it up; Bon is a reliable piece of machinery that provides even more I could ask for. What'* up with that compass, anyway

What year is your car? If you put 19xx SSE in your signature, we'll have a much better idea.
I have a 93 and a 95, and both start in the dead cold. It'* 18° F right now, and they both love to go. The Dog on the other hand, is not a happy pooper. He ran inside FAST this morning after doing his business. Welcome!

Thanks for all this response, dudes
I'll fix my sig ASAP.
My Bonnie was first bought in 1990, late December, but the model is 1991. Back in the days, it was imported here by GM directly to a local GM dealer, so it'* first owner is finnish, so to speak. It'* not a so called "second hand import".
Here you can find some pictures of my and my borthers gear. I reduced the size to 500 pixels of width, so they won't download forever.
My fiancé drives a 2003 Opel Vectra Comfort (a bastardized euro-version of Cadillac ST) and my second/third car is 1968 Datsun Bluebird (one sturdy motha ***, only japanese car I've ever bought and only japanese car that I actually like)
My brother is very keen on Harley Davidsons but he has quite a many cars too. Cadillac Hearse '63, Chevy Caprice '90, Ford Edsel '59 (you read it right) and a '32 Ford, which is going to end up being a hot rod someday in the future.
I used to drive a '82 Olds Custom Cruiser, and it was fantastic but nothing compares to Bonneville. It'* just great that good people at GM have done a car that has that Cadillac comfort without paying for a Cadillac, if you know what I mean.
I'm a musician/producer also, and if some of you are interested, then check my royalty-free pieces:
