Greetings from Bucharest...
First post, so thought I'd do an into. I recently bought a '97 Bonnie SSEi with 131K on the ticker. Beautiful condition and a joy to drive. Unfortunately, it'* in Kansas City, and I'm overseas. Needed a car for when we visit the states, and couldn't pass up the Bonneville.
That said, I have my trusty '94 Delta LSS over here, which has taken me to Romania after four years in Russia. (You should see the looks I've gotten over the years. That Delta is the ONLY one they've seen in Eastern Europe ) 189K miles on the odo and still smooth.
So my first order of business is to get the rear struts on the Bonnie replaced, as the air ride pooped out. CCR works fine. We'll see what some research reveals.
That'* it. Hello to everyone, and ride safe!

Welcome to the forum. I see Autozone has the parts you need for about $60 per shock.
We have quite a few people here knowledgeable in all aspects of the Bonnevilles.

Had it shipped from the states when we transferred over here. I'm telling you, in nearly five years spent in Russia and Eastern Europe, I have NEVER seen an Olds Delta, 98, or a Bonneville for that matter.
I get stopped all the time by the locals and asked what kind of car it is. I can't imagine what they'd think if I had the SSEi over here.

I can just imagine driving around Russia in an SSEi.
