I am not too sure yet what route if any I will take as far as mods go. I have had some really fast cars before and truthfully I don't think it will be worth it to start doing things to this car if it still isn't going to be that fast. I was considering a reflash and maybe a pulley and calling it quits. What do you guys think?

hehehe, I already see the direction this is going to go...
Based on what you have said I would suggest getting the exhaust done, intake (gutted air box, CAI, FWI, etc.), scan for KR and put in a PLOG (replacement for restrictive front manifold) if neccesary, then drop to a 3.5 - 3.6" pulley and have someone custom tune your ride. That will give you plenty of pep, without any worries. None of these mods should be very hard or expensive if you do a little research and can turn a wrench.
If you're like the rest of us though, your going to get to that point and the mod bug will already have nested deep inside of you... the mod bug is relentless and unforgiving.

Most people don't think twice about a corvette or other muscle car being fast, but when I fire up my 6 cyl bonne in the morning and my neighbor asks if I've got a big block sitting in the garage, that is priceless.

I am sure they can be quick, I am not saying that, but after owning and racing some 9 and 10 second mustangs I could care less about going 14'* to 12'*. Ya know what I mean. I am sure it will be just fine with a couple basics and thats it. I was thinking maybe tinting it and upgrading the sound system, and aside from a pulley and a flash I don't see myself doing anything else. I currently work at a shop where we work on Audi'* and VW'* and we have some cars that are making 550 awhp, I get to drive them whenever I want. That will have to fulfill my need for speed for now until the new mustang is done. I just want a nice car to cruise in and this seems to fit the bill.

Ok, how do I get the forum to not email me everytime a new post is made? I changed a bunch of the settings in the usercp, but that didn't work. Any ideas.
