1960 Catalina'* are one of my dream Pontiacs to own! Ever since I met Marvin Paunch (not sure on spelling) who won the Daytona 500, and saw pictures of the car he drove, I've wanted that model. Is it a hardtop? Anyway, welcome to the club. I also have found this site of unlimited value in tips and answers. Not to mention a great source for a good laugh once in a while.

If it went 300k before it had an intake manifold failure, that is a record also. If you search this forum for UIM failures you'll find they are a common problem, but usually waaay before 300k.

Since I am unable to figure how to post pics, I thought I would give a link for a pic of my 60 Catalina.

Dan:
Welcome from Maryland.

My parents had a 59 Catalina Safari wagon. Your 60 Catalina looks great. Nice job on the restore.
