Glad to find this site for wife'* '03 Buick PA Ultra
This site is a gold mine of infromation, thank you for the work to keep it going.
I've already found a lot of useful tips on keeping my wife'* '03 Buick PA Ultra running. It is going on 120K miles and since we have most of the factory bugs taken care of it seems a shame to lose a great driving and riding car with exceptional fuel economy (~30 mpg hwy, ~20 mpg around town on regular gas). Just solved a vexing problem with ABS and Traction idiot lights coming on when the pass. side wheel hit a little bump. The pass. side connector was dislodged from the bracket on the steering knuckle and flopping around. Fixed with a wire tie! I guess when the bearing was replaced at about 80K, the connector was damaged. Other issues, a transmission solenoid valve failure (~60K, covered by ext. wty.), normal brake maintenance, oil changes, repairing both the garage door opener switch and a door lock switch by gluing them back in place because of the crappy GM plastic snap lock designs (~105K) and new plugs and plug wires recently, it has been pretty trouble free. I doubt we have spent more than $1K for maintenance and repairs.
