Welcome to the forum!

How'* your crank sensor doing these days? My guess is, not so good. That may be the culprit right there. Is your check engine light on?

Welcome! I remember riding in my friend'* old car that had the same issue. He fixed it temporarily with duct tape but drove it actually for a few days like that. The crank position sensor, as Signofzeta said, is likely what'* giving you issues. Have a look at that and let us know.
