First Bonnie-New to the forum
Hi Bonneville brothers.
Just bought a 05 GXP a couple weeks ago. My first car in several years, I've been driving *-10 Blazers, Tahoes and Pick-ups the last 15 or so years.
I had been shopping for a 02 or 03 SLE, but got a call from a dealer who was helping me look for a Bonneville. He asked if I might be interested in a 05 GXP Bonneville?? Well, long story shortened, I really liked the looks and test drive. So I made the deal..
I live in Kansas, a little south of Kansas City. I've been working as a millwright for about 24 years, mostly in power plants. But KC has a couple auto assembly plants too. I have put in tons of hours and equipment in the GM Fairfax plant, they used to make the Grand Prix there, now the Malibu and Saturn Aura are built there.
Looks like a great forum here, I also frequent a cigar forum that has some great members. Hope to learn more about Bonneville'* here and in the future maybe contribute and help out fellow members.

Hi and Welcome to the Bonneville Forum!
Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

Welcome aboard the Bonneville Forum. Glad to hear your liking your GXP. They can be quirky, but a breed of their own. I like the fact that even though the model is now 5 years old, it still turns heads and people wonder what it is. Debadging it helps......LOL.
