Hello to all- I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP. I wish to learn about the car and understand its strong and weak points . It'* had the transmission rebuilt at 74,000 and my first thoughts are what made it fail.. I will need to understand the common issues this car may have....and avoid them.

Welcome to the forums Jesse!
We have a quite a few members with the GXP.
They are a very nice looking car, sporty!
Glad you bought it with a rebuilt transmission, Do you think it may have been driven hard?

I inspected every detail .. like a csi forensic investigator.. If such a fact could be proven I would bet my bar stool and keg tap that car never ever paced a highway roadrunner 95 mph like I did yesterday around 9:45 am.. I pushed him aggressively nearly 8 miles ...he couldn't hold with me.. or steer steady .. dude drove like a lady.....applied the signale indicator drifted a right coasting off pretend taledega speedway ..He rode rail close on a center median divideder about 105mph...fear fade speed deceleration.. . speed reality adhustment.. apex angle curves, swerves, nerves.. Beautiful velocity, smooth power during full excelleration.. fe4 sport suspension steady and responsive ..I do think I may have warped a brake rotor ..the car did impress me absolutly..
