Almost a owner of an SSEI 1993 (pictures inserted)
Hello people,
I am vin, a dutch guy living close to Rotterdam. Today a friend of mine came to me and said he wanted to bring his car to the demolition. When i looked at his car i was captured by the technique of it. So,....to make a long story short. At the end off the month he will give his car to me. It don't cost me a thing so the more money i can put in it i guess.
My regular car is a tuned VW Jetta tdi, 170 BHP, 400 Nm torgue. De Bonne is different . I hope to learn here what things to do to make this car as good as it should be.
I'm sorry that my english is a little bit rusty but then again,...good things never change.
Vin

Some of your emissions stuff may be different, but that would probably be the extent of it.
You may have a higher speed limiter, but I doubt it. American SSEi'* are limited to 128MPH.

Welcome to America, via the car and the internet. Sounds like you will have a very unique car, whether there or were it here (in European dress).
You may have different mirrors on the doors, side marker lights between the front wheels and the front doors, 9004 or9007 dual-filament headlights (meaning one light bulb covering more space in the headlight capsule, a different blinker area in the main headlamp capsule, a different rear bumper cover to accomadate the European license plate. That'* all I can think of off-hand.
Inside I believe the only difference will be the instrument cluster will be the same as a Canadian Bonneville would have here in North America. AKA -reading KPH in the large #'* and MPH in the smaller #'* as well as coolant in C, and boost guage will read something else too. Oh, the digital climate control will have the option for C* and F*, but that was standard on all SSE/SSEi'*, regardless of their destination when built.
