Cool After 2 years..I'm BACK!

Well life happened and somehow I disappeared from here way back on Septemeber 8th 2011 which says my last visit was. I had been on here for several years, back when this was just a bonneville forum before it became the gmforum it is now. I bought a house, started a new field of work, had a baby girl..life happened lol

Anyways here I am back again and for good reason. I am selling my GTO (see: had baby girl above) because I need a 4 door car and I am getting my old Bonneville back!

to jog your memory here is my old bonneville that some of you might recognize

and of course I sold it to my sister after I bought my GTO back in May 2011

This is how she sits now:

So since I last visited a lot has been done to the GTO..some appearance stuff and performance stuff including a new motor built for it this spring. I hate to sell it but with my work commute now and having a baby the GTO has become impractical for my uses so it'* time to get practical for a while. I also have some debt I'd like to pay off with the extra money from selling this car and going back to my less expensive old car.

So I am back! and it looks like this site has grown A LOT since I was last here. I'm excited to get back into the swing of things on this site, and to re-mod my bonneville since I de-modded it when I sold it to her (untinted lights, removed halos, LED License plate cover, FWI etc..) It returns to Florida in November as the plan looks right now..hopefully have my car sold be then.

Wow, it has been a long time Nick. Like you said, life changes and you have to roll with it. Grab some beer and pull up a chair, you got some catching up to do.

the backward car seat phase sucks. the bonnie is one of the only cars that a decent size car seat will fit in backward.

Just halo rings I got off eBay and attached to the outside of the fog lights. I think they were like $20-30

Believe it or not it actually fit in my gto pretty good.. Front passenger seat had to be moved up a ways but it was not easy getting her in and out every time. Plus I commute 400 miles a week now so going back to the Bonneville just makes sense. My wife cant drive the gto either so she'* happy I'm getting my Bonneville back lol

It was no different than putting them inside the lights which I considered.. This way just makes it way easier plus they are clear so in the day you can't see them unless they are on. Might sound ghetto but I did my best to make it not be
