97 Bonneville in NH
Hey guys, My name is Josh and I am a backyard mechanic mostly playing with Jeeps but I just got a 1997 Bonneville SE with 115K Miles in trade for a 6 pack of Coors Light. My wife loved driving this car instead of my 99 F-250 Ext Cab Long Bed Diesel that she has been driving. I thought the car blew a head gasket but a google search brought me here and gave me hope that it may be a Intake gasket. I am looking for more info on the intake gasket problems on the 3.8

Hi Josh....:Welcome
It'* very uncommon to blow a head gasket in this cars. More than likely you have an lower intake manifold gasket or two that needs replacing. Check this out... https://www.gmforum.com/t278911/
