First Post, my 1983 Pontiac Bonneville / Lemans
1983 Pontiac Bonneville / Lemans Brougham
Hello, I have had this car for a long time as my daily driver (summer only). I am 20 years old and live in Toronto Ontario. Since we salt the roads here, I do not drive it in the winter. In the winter I drive my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT (3800 Series II).
Here is some Pics from car domain

I have a few questions about this car that i can't find from the internet, or even a dealer.
1. What is the difference between this car and the bonneville Model G?
2. I have never seen another one of these car (Lemans) and only a few bonneville Model Gs, are they rare or something. Why was this car not popular compared to the other bonnevilles?
3. Is this car worth anything in the shape it is in, should I hang onto this car?
4. Is it easy to put a chevy 350 in this car, and does anyone know what transmission this car would have standard (It has the 231 (3.8L) Buick V6). If it already has the 305 or 350 transmission, then I might use that with the new engine.

Have you seen this?

As for worth, if you like driving it and working on it, then its worth it. In my opinion
As for fitting a Chevy 350 to it, anything is possible given enough time and money. Since this is already a RWD car, then it should be a little easier.
Welcome, and enjoy
