64 Owner.
Hi,
I was very happy to see the 57 up section on this board today.
I'm 47 and a 64 Bonneville owner. I've loved these cars for decades and 2 years ago bought another one. I had one in trade school in the 70s and have never driven or owned another car like it. I could of bought almost any car but I had to have a early 60s Bonneville again.
I completly rebuilt the suspension and brought it up to modern specs while keeping things like the aluminum drums (which stop better then my discs).
I have a 461 stroker motor planned for next year while keeping the 4 speed hydro (best automatic ever made in my book).
Thank you[size=18][/size

Thank you for the kind welcome.
Here is a web site that has my car on it.
Too bad they discontinued the Bonneville from the Pontiac line up.
It would of been something to see the Bonneville go back to a rear wheel drive V-8 car like Cadillac is supposedly doing.
Allthough I think the new Bonneville is a beautiful car.
They (GM) seem to be really screwing up these days, just my opinion.
Thank you.

Vital 49, it has a 389.
I'm hoping to do a 461 stroker engine in the next couple years.
93SLE, I'm always cruising 422.
Did you ever stop at the Country store on 228?
I love driving through that area.
