Need Help.... 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 cranks and has spark but won't start
I was driving down the road at about 45mph when my truck shut off and would only crank but not start, I've check for fuel going to and past the fuel filter, changed the ignition control module, oil pressure sensor, distributor cap and rotor. The engine has spark and will back fire once and a while while cranking also I've changed the battery just as a precaution. Is there something I'm missing
Thanks

Verify your fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Your pump may be working to a point to flow fuel, but not enough to provide the 50+ psi to make the injectors work.

Anything is possible right now. If you can, get it scanned for any codes.

Most likely. But don't get your hopes up. If the pump isn't providing enough fuel pressure, you might end up with a misfire code. But you have to remember the basics for an engine to run.
1. Air
2. Fuel
3. Spark.
Without those three things, an engine won't run.
