Hey guys. So I found a fairly nice regular cab K30 with a 454 and auto trans, I'm assuming th400. Haven't drove it yet but it'* on the base where I work so the guy is driving 8-10+ miles a day so I imagine it runs and drives fine. I'll test drive it before I make an offer but it'* in overall good shape for it'* age. He wants $3400 for it which I don't think is totally out of line but I'm thinking closer to $2800. Can you guys help me out on a rough value? I see K20'* a lot but I haven't seen a 1-ton for sale in a long time. Down the line I may gut the truck to build up my K5 but for the time it'll just be a driver/hauler.

value is so area and car dependent it would be hard to get a good estimate. not only that its old and the state of rust and overall condition is big. i think it would have to be pretty solid for that price.

the sign in the truck says $3400 but I found his carigslist add from over a week ago for $2900. if I do bite on this truck I'll offer $2500 cash. I know that'* a fair price for the truck. thanks anyway!
