Hey guys I have a 07 silverado 1500. It has the 4l60e and it began to shift hard about 5 minutes after running. If I shut it down and then restart it goes away for a few minutes again. It feels to shift rough 1-3 and 4th is smooth, or at least not noticed. It'* has code p0700 and p2763. I'm not sure where to start so any help would be great. Thanks!

What happens is, when the code sets, the PCM commands full line pressure......this causes harsh upshifts......

There is not much you can do, unless you know transmissions......could have a valve body problem, TCC solenoid problem, pressure control solenoid problem, etc.

Basically, you have to drive the vehicle with a scan tool attached and watch data from the transmission, especially from the input and output rpm sensors, and also the rpm slip when the TCC engages....this will help in determining what is at fault......

But if you know nothing about transmissions, I would leave it to the pros...

Also, has regular transmission maintenance been performed? Check the color/smell/level of the fluid?

This was not an intermittent issue either. I was scouting for hunting so very low speed. And it began this. Out of thevery blue never had issue before. The TC is not engaging either now. It never had an issue before when engaging it was very flawless. The fluid is in crosshatch and very good and clean. No foul smell at all.
