Just a thought, dorman sells nylon fuel line repair kits. Two barbs and a piece of fuel line. you would want to cut out a 3" section or so, put a barb in each side, then a piece of nylon of appropriate length in between the two.
With that line I wouldn't think you would lose any more gas than what is sitting in the line since it looks like it is higher than the tank. I changed my fuel filter on my 2000 sierra this weekend, and even being as low as it is, I lost very little having the line completely disconnected.

I have a stick welder that should work.

Like I said, just a thought, and cheap enough to warrant trying if money is a concern. If I were you and could get it fixed right for a $100 deductible, I would take that route. Fuel lines aren't something to mess around with if you don't have to.
I remember switching my car over to braided lines... what a pain.

Lol.. in a related story, there are a few shops that will take a torch to your fuel filter if it'* stuck on real good... I felt like they earned every penny of that job.

Well, looking at the line diagram, this goes to the fuel pump. That leads me to believe that I'll need a new pump with lines connected. If that'* the case, warranty it is.

There are nylon to nylon compression unions available. Cut out the bad section and join with the union. I've used them with success on a number of lines.
