Tell me whatcha think. Imagine it with Hector'* red ADTR intake, and Ty'* red alternator. That'* where I'm headed with it. It would be faster if I'd picked green but red will do:

Sounds great! ....but what colors will you use after Christmas?
Seriously, I think chrome would look better. If you are willing to spend the $$$, green anodized would look cool too.

great minds think alike,I am in the works of doing the same thing. Both give performance and great looks,What more could we ask for ! By the way did you paint that bar red or is that the way it came because mine is black and im going to paint it.I also purchased the little chrome pontiac wing nut for supercharger cover it should look cool when its done!

No, mine was black powdercoat like yours. Just going a little unique. I scuffed it up with 300 grit and used some grease and wax remover, then used the same paint I used on my calipers. 1200°F Ceramic paint. Tough stuff. Funny, SSEi95 is going with the same red scheme, too. Notice how chewed up my hood insulator is? That'* a result of the tranny line that blew back in May. I just found out gmpartsdirect has them new for $37. Hmmmm......that'* the only truly ugly thing under the hood besides my makeshift intake.

did one better. That paint is already aftermarket. Just painted the lettering red last night. Another coat I think, then back on the car. I replaced some wire looms with red yesterday, and replaced a few vacuum lines, too.

No pics until I get the Series 1 ADTR intake installed. It'* red, too. That'll be the crowning glory, methinks. I dunno, the rat sent me a pretty cool pic of a modified supercharger cover. Cutouts filled with wire mesh. Pretty cool looking. Hmmm....
