If you do in fact have AUO on your label, and you KNOW it'* the original label (match the VIN), all the pieces should be there unless removed at some earlier date. I don't recall ever hearing of a GM RKE reciever dying, so your odds are pretty good. Sounds like a good 30 buck gamble to me.

Yeah, I'm going to try the reprogram steps outlined here:

We KNOW our procedure works. Some out there may not. You may either want to compare our instructions to theirs, or simply use ours for safety'* sake. If you ground the wrong pins, you can smoke your PCM.
