i can't f'in believe it...
i get some nice new tires not 3 weeks ago
today, i'm taking off from a stop sign like two miles from my house, i feel something stuck in the tire. i stop, get out, hear a hissing, think "Oh ****..." get back in, and hot foot it home, and then like 5 min after i get home, my tire is completely flat... A BRAND NEW FREAKIN TIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What was it??? I got a freeking pop rivet stuck in mine... and it was completely deflated in minuets.. I got some of that green gew and it worked awesome... Ive almost ran them the whole expected milage and there hasnt been another problem.

well, they replaced it with a new tire. there was a gash under one of the tread blocks. this actually turned out to be a blessing in desguise, if it wern't for this flat, i would have been driving my car when that person pulled out in front of me, and my car (instead of my mothers) would now be totaled

Well you probably wouldn't have been traveling the same speed in your car, or maybe you wouldn't have spent those few extra seconds positioning the seats and mirrors, and could have possibly avoided the collision altogether.

Boat, how do you recon that warn tires have better traction? I am serious about this question because I have never heard that before and would like to know. I was always under the impression that newer tires had better traction.

when the tred goes down it will simiulate a slick more. BUT ususally the tred material will harden in that time so you actually loose traction. Like my tires, they are super hard now. I need new ones.
