Post How to change a tire

I did this because you never know if we will get a member who doesnt know how to do this
first take the wheel and lug nut covers off(if you have them)
Then break your lugnuts loose after moving anything thats in your way...bubba

then jack it up

heres taking lug covers off

then remove your lugnuts

then remove the offending wheel/tire

If you do like i did and put your lugnuts down in the snow spray them out with a pentrating water remover/blocker

then put your replacement wheel/tire on and thread the lugnuts on by hand to ensure they are not cross threaded

then tighten you lug nuts down in the bolt specific pattern i always tighten them just to they all touch the rim then torque them in pattern

and then put your lugnut and hub covers back in place(f you have them)

then let the vehicle down off the jack and pat yourself on the back

You are done and have succsesfully changed a tire congratulations

For a Tech Info submission (hate to be a PITA here but....) The wording would have to include Make sure in Park/Parking Brake On/Use safety support.

Not alot of work, we always polish things up before we install them in Tech Info. Even the gearhead writeups in their section go through a "kick the tires" phase before we ship them. I was just stating the things to you we have to look at and correct (for the next time). Just in case it'* a total newb looking over a writeup and for liability sake.
