When it needs to be charged I put it in the sunglass holder and charge it with the acc. thats up there, looks like a CB (well, it is Nextel ).
Otherwise I leave clipped to my belt.

I find things do fly out of the overhead console when i gun it too... Luckily the worst thing was a cellphone or a cd, not a camera, or anything.

It is a good idea to have a cell holder mounted securely if your using it on a regular basis, items falling while stepping on it is not cool :?

There'* a layer of quilting for the seats that hangs over the area where the armrest goes. My phone is the perfect size to tuck in there with no problem. The rest of the time, it'* in my hand cause I'm using it, i know i know
