PC or Pocket PC Scantool Questions...
Hello again fellow Bonnie Owners:
I am in the market to purchase an OBD-2 scantool application that will work with a laptop and/or PocketPC. I have looked around a bit and have seen one from AutoEnginuity, Auto X-Ray, etc. I also have the 2-volume GM service manuals for my 2000 SLE that list very many codes depending on what service 'unit' you are in - even down to the radio, body control, etc. I would like to know what recommendations you might have as to which ones will provide the following:
1. Talk to GM Tech 2 (whatever that is)
2. Read/set ALL THE CODES!!! (Powertrain, tranny, body control, radio, etc, etc)
3. Possibly reprogram the EEPROM for fuel, shift points, etc.
Any advice or direction greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.
