New Brakes
Well today someone pulled out of the car in front of me and they were able to slow down in time but I was within 2-3 inches of their car. I was literally standing on the brakes, and well, they don't work to well. Since I have no idea when the last time these brakes were serviced and what type of brakes were used, I am just going to do a full overhaul. Here is a list of part I was going to get, feel free to look around on the site to see if you can find anything better for an 98 SE.

I am not completely sure about doing the rears, but heres what I picked

not all cars created equally
First, if your ABS was pounding away, then the weak link was your traction with the road. New brakes aren't gonna help that. Tires might. Different car might. I guess I wouldn't just overhaul my brakes because I almost rear ended someone, unless I had everything into that brake pedal and there was no hint of lockup.. Just my 2 cents worth. Mike

Another reason I want to replace them is because when it get warm out, they squeak like a ****. They still have pad left, but I don't know why they squeak all the time in the summer.
