Default What'* it worth? Damaged Bonneville

Looking at buying this bonneville. 1998 SE, fully loaded, runs great and drives great. Has damage to the drivers side shown in pictures, no structural damage, just cosmetic. I have all the parts to fix it, but don't know what to pay for it. Only other thing to take into consideration is the car has 295K on it. I have checked it over really good and cannot find any problems, no leaking, no burning oil, engine and tranny are unusually clean.

Mike

If it has that many miles, I doubt those would be the original units.

Run a Carfax if at all possible. Looks to be pretty fixable, though the miles would scare me.

KBB fair condition will be around 2 grand. if you really want to rebuild her and already have the parts I would only offer 500.

if you have to buy any of the parts I would go less

I agree with the $500 price tag, at most. I would think that to be reasonable with a car in that shape.

On a side note, I hope my car gets to 295k.

I had a chance to get a 1998 SE in great shape for $800....passed, it needed a rear door.

The car is maybe worth $200 in that shape...tops.

I know where you can get the parts IN COLOR, but it'* quite a ways away from you.... down in Pipestone, MN for one car, and the other is at RICKS in Royalton, MN.

Both were 1998 SE'* in Firemist Gold -my favorite color on a Bonneville.

that'* an under $400 car if the title isn't already deemed as totalled from that accident.

I 100% agree. Man, don't pay more for that than I paid for my car! Also, mine had far fewer miles on the odometer - 278K.
