Default Best price for Mobil 1 is.....?

You guys have convinced me to go with Mobil 1 but I have two questions:

1) Which is better: Mobil 1 Synthetic or Mobil 1 Extended Life and why?

( I have a 2000 SSEI with 70k on it, and I know what the Mobil site says, but those sites say lots of things that aren't necessarily true.........)

2) Where do you buy Mobil 1: I'm looking for the best price online or in stores. Thanks in advance....

I use Mobil 1 Synthetic and get it from Wal mart. Best price I have been able to find.

thanks dan. amazon.com has 6 qts for $38.88 including shipping. I imagine Walmart can beat it: I'll check it out...................

I pay $6.99 locally at Riley'*. I don't mind paying that because I personally have made a conscious decision to not give WalMart, and other businesses that treat employee'* poorly and take advantage of 3rd world countries, my money.

I don't know about price but your other question was about Mobil 1 and The Extended Life. I just read about the Extended Life going for 15000 between oil changes. That'* great but I was advised years ago to still change out your oil filter every 3000 to 7500 miles. The oil might last longer but some filters are not going to be able to filter as well for that many miles.

You don't need to tell me that - I'm very much aware of it. But, when given the choice of selecting and not being forced into a necessity that there are no options for...you're stuck. So, I have options to where to buy a product from and I elected to not buy any product from a company with poor employee policies and overseas contracts that exploit.
