My 95 LeSabre had an oil "monitor". The owners manual explained what it used to figure ou when to change the oil (No, I don't remember). Then it would throw a litght on the dash. To reset it, you had to push a button in the passenger footwell.

ok so what features does a 88-91 SSE have that is any better (electronic) then my LE?

My grandma'* 89 Olds 98 (that I was driving all last week cause mine is in the tranny shop) has the trip computer, instant/average mileage, gallons used, extra guages, oil monitor, etc. thing. You can only see one bit of info at a time, but it was handy.

really...is there any sort of sub-model to the ninety-eight that would have that feature?

I really want to find another Olds Cutlass Ciera International series...that thing had the coolest computer...only thing was that the little LCD screen died and you could only see it in absolute darkness....could NEVER find a replacement...that car is SOO hard to find....

I think it said Regency on the outside, and Regency Brougham on the inner door panels (despite having no vinyl top).
