I am going to go check these out this weekend. Which one seems like a better deal. I already have an 89 le. I could only get one or the other so I must decide.

#1, even unbiased. Electrical problems are better than mechanical problems IMO, and the only way I'd ever buy a 87-91 is if it were an SSE

#2 just cuz i like it, and a crank sensor isnt THAT big of a deal.

Go with the 95 ( I love mine) unless you are absolutely in love with your generation style.
