Default What a score !

Well I took the week off work so I can strip the cab from my 69 GMC pickup. I decided to stop by one wrecking yard to see if they had any parts I can use.

Well I ended up finding a missing glove box light for the Bonneville instead. After that Renee asked if we could stop by a second yard that we have picked up parts from before. I knew there was 1 black SSE like ours and the new owner used to own that car before he sold it and it got wrecked.

Long story short we decided to see what was left of it, since it was one of the only ones in the yard it gets picked over pretty good. Well here is what we picked up for 30$ for our 90 SSE

I and Renee think that the best score has to be factory floor mats for the pre 92 SSE and as you can see the factory snaps are in great shape. The rest of the parts are just spare parts in case.

good thing there were no other SSEs in the yard cause the shopping list would have been more, LOL.

Nicely done. What are those long black strips on the right side of that pic?

They are part of the GFX molding that go on the car.

See

And those mats happen to be the same color as the interior.

I love bargains like that! We have a junk yard that carries quite a bit of everything. My son could spend the entire day out there if I'd let him. We are such good customers that we even get really good prices. gotta love it!!
