What is my car worth?
Hey all,
I've had it with trying to fix my 95 SE Bonnie. I have a low voltage reading at idle, it drops half way for about five seconds then shots back up, does this day and night doesn't matter at various times. Gauge fluxates sometimes while driving in day time, at night with lights on gauge will be at around 12 volts or a little lower most of time. No one can fix this problem, I've been to three mechanics, including a suppoesed electrical specilaist and as a last resort my local pontiac dealer. I posted my problem on this forum, tried all the suggestions nothing has worked. I'm fed up!!! GM dealer tells me problem is normal not worry about it, menwhile I spent 2 1/2 hours at $85 an hour thier having it diagionsed. I'm out about $900 total so far for nothing.
So I've decided to just buy another bonneville. So what is mine worth?
It has 125k, new 2 yr NJ inspection, the only thing it needs is a new AC compressor which I found a place in Florida from E-bay that sells them for $129.00 with a 1 year warranty. The transmission was rebuilt at around 112k. Other than the damn electrical glitch which really has no affect on the driving of the car, it just really annoys me knowing its there and I can't fix it. I'm not going to sell it and not tell about the batterry gauge problem even though it doesn't affect the car like I said. How much should I ask for it? I'm not looking to make a killing, but someting would be nice,
thanx.............

price would depend on the options. Since the SE varied a lot, I would not be able to guess just based on that. Try KBB or Edmunds.com and they should give you a fair price

I see that you are asking what the car is worth...
My question is what are looking to get for the car?
My car On KBB doesn't have much of anything for value... I think mine is worth 1700-1800 private party... I haven't looked in a while so I'm not totally sure... My 91 is worth about 700.. lol
