I've seen a stopped car get hit at 70+ before by a stock height suburban and it drilled the backseat into the front seat......frame and all.

My wreck
I was T-boned by a 2003 Lexus RX300 SUV (drunk driver BTW ). Was driving an 01 Grand Am SE sedan. It ripped my engine off the car. The SUV hit me from the side @ 50mph, I was traveling @ 25mph when it happened. Seatbelts DO save lives.
