Default What was he thinking?!

Yesterday I'd just got my Bonnie out the shop having had the tranny rebuilt. My first test was to see if I could break the tires lose on a cool day. I was rewarded with the sweet smell of burnt rubber on the pavement. Yet; I was not fulfilled. I required some other form of....nurishment. I was bought out of my funk by a phone call from my girl. Said she wanted me to come and inspect her plumbing to which I hastily agreed. So as I drove from Fort Worth to Dallas on I-20; I prayed for a test of my trannies new found powers. As I prayed to the Demi-God ; I was rewarded with some idiot in a Escort Sport who kept on running up next to me and taking off and leaving me. Could he have been thinking that "Grand Ma" and her car wouldn't get at him?As we proceeded down the highway he'd let me catch up and then do the same thing agian. After the third time I decided to jump with him when he took off. He jumped and from a speed of about 65mph my Bonnie roared to life ( sleeper awake! ) ! From jump I began to pull away from himlike it wasn't nothing and only shut down for a few secounds when traffic got so heavy that I'd have plowed through two cars rear ends . That was not the plan. Even at that point I had him at about four or five car liengths. He darted up past me at max speed through a hole in the traffic I didn't see at first. I followed in hot pursuit! I was very impressed with how the Bonnie wound up and fetched this guy with no problem. As I caught him he vired off at the first exit he could get too! He'd had enougth of that "Grand Ma " car. As it stands now I've a CAI and a a Pcm chip on order from AngryDuck Tofu Racing. I was going to add them to my Grand Prix first and then get the goods for the Bonnie later, but now I think the Bonnie will get the goodies first.

Haha, very nice.

Reminds me when a Civhic passed me on the damn shoulder and I chased him down to be part of the most stupid thing I could do....race through freeway traffic against a Honda at 100mph for 4 miles. Someone called us in to the cops, I got away.
